Fisch Fish Value & Mutation Calculator
Estimate the Merchant C$ value of any catch without double-counting Big or Giant. Enter the fish’s C$/kg, actual weight, one mutation, and any Shiny or Sparkling attributes.
Calculate Fisch Fish Sell Value
The example starts with the wiki’s 5.7 kg Shiny Grey Carp numbers so you can verify the two rounding steps before entering your own catch.
ceil(ceil(C$/kg × weight) × mutation × attributes)This estimates the Merchant C$ sell price. It does not estimate player-to-player trade demand, limited-item scarcity, or the probability of getting a mutation from appraisal.
The Fisch Value Formula
The order matters because Fisch rounds up once before modifiers and once after them.
Price per kg × weight
Multiply the species C$/kg value by the actual weight on the item, then round up to a whole C$. This is the unmodified base value.
Multiply modifiers
Apply one mutation plus Shiny and Sparkling when present. Value-bearing attributes stack multiplicatively, not additively.
Round up again
Round the modified result up to a whole C$ for the final merchant sell estimate. The calculator shows both round-up stages.
Reviewed Mutation Multiplier Presets
This is a compact calculator list, not a claim to track every mutation. Choose Custom when your current mutation is not listed.

Sell Value vs. Trade Value
Merchant C$ value
Formula-driven. Use this calculator when deciding whether a fish is worth selling or comparing the C$ effect of known modifiers.
Player trade value
Market-driven. Limited availability, demand, collector interest, event timing, and duplication risk can matter more than merchant C$.
Appraisal decision
A higher possible multiplier is not guaranteed profit. Appraisal can change weight or mutation, and the correct expected value also needs the current odds and fee.
Fisch Fish Value Calculator FAQ
How is Fisch fish sell value calculated?
First round C$ per kg multiplied by actual weight up to the next whole C$. Then multiply that rounded base value by the single mutation and any value-bearing attributes, and round up again.
Do Big and Giant multiply fish value again?
No. Big and Giant describe the fish's weight relative to its base weight. The heavier weight already increases value, so applying another size multiplier would double count it.
Do Shiny and Sparkling stack in Fisch?
Yes. They are separate value-bearing attributes, each currently worth 1.85×, and they can stack with each other and with one mutation.
Is merchant sell value the same as Fisch trade value?
No. Merchant sell value is a C$ calculation. Player trade value also depends on demand, availability, events, collectors, and current trading behavior.
