Use Hasty
Steady Rod’s -60% lure speed is its defining weakness. Speed usually matters more than extra luck on that build.
Do not chase one universal best enchant. Fix the rod’s weakness first, then optimize for profit, rare fish, or difficult catches.
| Enchant | Type | Main effect | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hasty | Regular | +55% lure speed | Slow rods such as Steady Rod |
| Quality | Regular | Balanced multi-stat boost | General progression |
| Controlled | Regular | +0.15 control | Difficult catches and low-control rods |
| Divine | Regular | +50% luck | Rare-fish hunting |
| Sea King | Regular | Higher fish weight | Budget value farming |
| Immortal | Exalted | +75% luck | Late-game rare pools |
| Herculean | Exalted | +0.2 control and weight support | Heavy and difficult fish |
| Sea Overlord | Exalted | Major fish-weight boost | High-end C$ builds |
Steady Rod’s -60% lure speed is its defining weakness. Speed usually matters more than extra luck on that build.
Improve the reeling bar before stacking value effects on a rod you cannot catch consistently with.
Sea King and Sea Overlord suit rods that already have sufficient speed, control, and catch passives.
Regular, Exalted, Cosmic, Twisted, Sovereign, and limited systems have different pools and costs.
Use the Statue of Sovereignty elevator. Standard access costs 400 C$ unless unlimited access is owned.
The relic is consumed and applies to the equipped rod. Double-check before interacting.
An ordinary Hasty roll can outperform a rare enchant when lure speed is the actual bottleneck.
