Fischipedia Editorial Policy

How we decide what is reliable enough to publish, how commercial support is separated from rankings, and how stale live-game claims are corrected.

Evidence Before Confidence

01

Check the live or official layer

In-game behavior, Roblox experience information, and official developer announcements take priority for whether a feature is live.

02

Cross-check exact data

Current structured references and changelogs help verify prices, locations, stats, requirements, and expiry timestamps.

03

Separate reports from facts

Community posts reveal player questions and possible changes. A single post is not enough for an exact factual claim.

04

Publish status and review date

Live, roadmap, scheduled, and needs-test information are labeled differently so future content is not mistaken for current gameplay.

Ranking and Recommendation Rules

Use case before hype

Rod rankings consider progression stage, access, price, catch safety, passive value, and the player's goal—not one headline stat.

No invented precision

We do not publish fabricated payback hours, drop rates, or “best” claims when the necessary inputs are missing or unstable.

Explain the trade-off

A useful recommendation tells the player what the choice improves, what it costs, and when another route is better.

Corrections and Version Changes

Live games change faster than static pages. When a price, stat, code, location, or mechanic is contradicted by stronger current evidence, the site should correct the affected data, update the review date, and avoid silently preserving the old claim elsewhere.

Conflicting claims are removed from “verified” tables until resolved. Material route changes are checked across related pages to prevent duplicate or contradictory guidance.

Attribution and Automation

Respect source licenses

Adapted community-wiki facts and structure must retain the attribution required by the source license. External pages are linked where they help users verify context.

Automation assists, it does not certify

Automation may help compare pages, find inconsistencies, format tables, or draft explanations. Time-sensitive facts still require source review before being labeled verified.

No scraped page replacement

The goal is original decision support and tools, not copying another guide or republishing a wiki entry without added player value.

Commercial Independence

No paid rankings

An advertiser, affiliate partner, or sponsor cannot buy a higher tier, favorable verdict, or removal of a factual limitation.

Labels must be obvious

Ads, sponsored material, and affiliate links must be identifiable without requiring the user to infer the relationship.

Content remains usable

Advertising must not obscure controls, imitate navigation, or outnumber the player guidance on a page.
